Stitch by stich.....
When JH was born I never thought I would knit again, this time with O I wanted to knit almost right away. The only problem is a general lack of time to sit and knit, so I am juggling several projects at once and getting in a row here and there, this is better than nothing. Since I also need to drink coffee (in moderation), spend time playing with my sweet boys, read and sometime even shower!! Oh yea, and sleep too.
Above is the scarf I am knitting for my mom, the pattern is Big Lace Scarf and you can find it in More Last Minute Knitted Gifts. It will be a belated xmas gift. Luckily my mom has been knitting a blanket for me for a very long time so she understands! Love that book, I have also made the adorable baby bonnet (rav link) as well. You can get a look at my bonnet here.
These are socks for Pete, sadly when I ordered the yarn online it really looked brown and blue, so I was horrified when I realized it was different shades of purple, luckily Pete said he really wasn't concerned about the color. He will wear these under his hiking boots, and hopes they will be done before 2015. The pattern is Thuja, a free pattern on Knitty.
Above is a wash cloth/dishcloth, this is also a free pattern you can find it on the blog Down Cloverlaine. Isn't it cute?
I am also crocheting a bunch of dishcloths out of cotton yarn, the above is organic cotton. Basically I have to just be patient and enjoy each stitch. I am also making these Little Beans (rav link) for JH's favorite boots, but have yet to get a picture. What are you working on?
